Snow Much Love

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card with an adorable winter image from Sassy Cheryl's.

It's no secret that I adore snowmen!  I love coloring them and I love making cards with them.  If you are also a lover of snowmen then be sure to check out Sassy Cheryl's Illustrations because she has lots of adorable snowmen!  This digi is called Snow Much Love.  I think the cute little kids hugging the snowman is just so sweet and this was so much fun to color.  I printed the image on Neenah and colored it with copics.  I used a stitched scalloped rectangle die to cut out the image and simply layered it onto some red cardstock.  I added some Glamour Dust to the ground to make it look snowy and frosty.  I also added a diecut snowflake that I covered with Glamour Dust, then added a glittery enamel dot to the center.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

Space Explorer

Good morning everyone!  I've got a fun shaker card using some stamps and dies from My Favorite Things.

I used a cute little astronaut from the BB Space Explorer stamp set.  I colored him with copics and then fussy cut him.  I used the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges die to cut my white cardstock and layered it over the green dp.  I cut the circle frame with the Stitched Circle Frames die.  I applied distress inks to some watercolor paper to create the galaxy and added some sequins to create the shaker card.  I used a black glaze pen on the astronaut's eyes.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Get Well Soon

Good morning everyone!  I've got a sweet card using some stamps and dies from The Greeting Farm.

This cute little nurse is from the Get Well Soon set.  I colored the image with copics then diecut the nurse and her bottle of pills using the coordinating dies.  I applied distress inks to a strip of watercolor paper and splashed some water to create the lighter spots - love this technique!  I used foam tape to pop the nurse up on a circle of vellum.  I applied some sequins just to give the card a bit of sparkle.  I think this little cutie will bring a smile to the face of someone that's feeling a bit under the weather, don't you?

Thank you so much for stopping by!

You're Owlsome!

Good morning everyone!  I've got another fun card using some stamps and dies from Sunny Studio Stamps.

I used the Happy Owl-o-ween and Halloween Cuties stamps and dies for this card.  The Happy Owl-o-ween set features an adorable owl and the cutest little Halloween costumes for the owl to wear!  You need to stop by the shop to check out all the images that are included in this set.  The pumpkin and bats are from the Halloween Cuties set that was released last year.  These two stamp sets work so well together.  I colored all the stamped images with copics and diecut them with the coordinating dies.  I diecut a stitched rectangle panel and used distress inks in Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers (two of my favorite colors).  I adhered the owl and pumpkin with foam tape for some dimension and added a few sequins for some sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita
